A unique experience. The crowds of all different nationalities going mad supporting their heroes and you can't help but be drawn by their enthusiasm. I've been to quite a few major sporting events but this was unlike anything I had experienced before, mainly because of the sheer numbers of people from all over the world with everyone laughing and singing caught up in the Olympic spirit. If you ever get the chance to go to an Olympic Games then don't pass it up, a time that I'll never forget.

I agree - I spent many days watching the Manchester Commonwealth games and the collective atmosphere was great. A real international community spirit and nights were amazing full of vibrant celebrations win or lose.
