As if Mother Earth hasn't scared us enough...on July 9th the heavens sprinkled snow on Gran Buenos Aires for the first time in 89 years. We are in winter now in BA, however the cold is just not comparable to the winter chills of NYC or London.

Madisteps's experience was in Buenos Aires, Argentina. She went on 21 of March 2007 for 1 day. She went because she lives here and for i live here. Madisteps went with a group of friends. She got there and around by walking, bus or coach. madisteps's verdict is: recommended.
The day the snow fell everyone was enjoying a holiday, as formal independence from Spain was declared on July 9, 1816. For some, the snow was the cherry on a sweet day off of work- while others moaned and groaned over the Armageddon that was upon us- mainly old ladies yelling from their balconies. Many wide-eyed friends asked if this was what a White Christmas is like in North. And everyone, young and old, was outside taking cellphone photos and scraping together pinches of snow to throw or make into snowmen.
The truth is that there was basically no accumulation and the kids got a week off of school. That's Buenos Aires for ya.
