We traveled to Paris for a once-in-a-lifetime trip. A must-see on our Paris itinerary was the Eiffel Tower. Sadly enough, it rained nearly the entire six days! Every time the rain stopped and the clouds parted, we would head to the tower (along with every other visitor in the city). We came upon the tower from the large park on the southern side (not the Seine side) and were rewarded with some beautiful views. We stood and watched a couple of young boys kick around a soccer ball, nearly oblivious to the major tourist attraction! If you visit, don't forget to take your eyes off of the tower and do a little people watching.

Paris has to be the perfect city for people watching! I have spent hours in cafes watching the world go bye and admiring the parisian women's style!

If you're feeling fit, definitely walk up and down the tower - its not as difficult as it looks!!! it's actually much cheaper and faster (because you don't have to wait in line for the lift).

On warm summer evenings, those strips of grass are packed with people eating a drinking. A wonderful atmosphere, and no doubt one of the most fitting ways to enjoy France's capital!
