Stroll through the Temple of Heaven’s (in a direct line from the Forbidden City) garden and grounds where once a year the Emperor would visit to pray for a good crop), walk along its porticos where ordinary Beijing citizens gather for picnics , dancing and music beneath the richly painted portico ceilings; climb to the place believed to be the closest to the heavens to make your own wish to the Almighty.

Beijing Great Wall One Day Tour
Ming Tombs, Great Wall of China, Olympic Locations
Thirteen of the sixteen Ming Emperors are buried in China’s finest example of imperial tomb architecture. We will travel the Spirit Way, part of a four-mile approach to the tombs, lined with statutes of officials, soldiers, animals and mythical creatures. Again, we will see the Chinese use of gates to impede evil spirits from entering an area. Next we will travel to the Great Wall of China, begun in the second century B.C. Only recently a heretofore unknown section of the wall has been uncovered, dating back to the Third Century A.D. This wall was breached in the 13th Century by the Mongols and again in the 17th Century by the Manchu. The last portion of the wall was completed in the 16th Century. It remains one of the Man-Made Wonders of the World. We will stop at a lovely roadside restaurant for luncheon. And then to the sites of the 2008 Olympics. We will stop at the Water Cube and the Bird’s Nest.

Innovative use of the site Mr Brilliant Guide ;-) and helpful stuff. If you could get any of your customers to put some testimonials/ contacts on here or your blog site it would be great and I think it would be good for business too.
